Description
This serene green jade vase was handcrafted by Thuy in March 2024. She skillfully shaped the form on the wheel, allowed the clay to dry, and then delicately painted a flock of birds perched together on a branch.
The vase exudes a sense of tranquility, making it perfect for displaying flowers on a cozy table or serving soju in a Japanese-inspired style. Its graceful design reflects both functionality and artistry, a hallmark of Thuy’s creations.
Each product is fired twice in a wood kiln. The first firing is a bisque firing at 800°C for 9 hours, followed by glazing and a second firing at over 1200°C for 20 hours, to achieve the final product.
